BIB – BACEE Post Conference on the hottest regulatory topics

Join our next workshop! The Budapest Institute of Banking (BIB) and the Banking Association for Central and Eastern Europe (BACEE) will hold BIB – BACEE post conference worskhop on the hottest regulatory topics on 8 May 2019 at the Danubius Health Spa Resort Margitsziget in Budapest. This workshop provides an ideal platform to discuss what will be the hottest topics of financial sector regulation in the next few years? Our instructors are excellent professionals of the global and European banking regulation from Deloitte and Central Bank of Hungary (MNB).

10:45 – 12:15    The reform of prudential regulation in EU – current changes in CRD/CRR

The EU prudential requirements will be soon changed significantly, reflecting the EU regulatory responses to global financial crisis. The current modification proposals to CRD/CRR do not only implement the Basel III guidelines, but give many additional EU specific requirements to it.

The capital requirement standards of counterparty credit risk, market risk and interest rate risk in the banking book were recently redeveloped in Basel bringing countless methodological changes.
