“Networking”, or the science of building great personal and professional relationships with new potential clients, is at the base of any professional services and the financial service makes no exception. The most successful lawyers, bankers and asset managers understand its importance and leverage it regularly.
But networking is not a talent we were born with. It’s a skill we need to learn that has rules and principles to be observed and respected in order to be effective.
In this workshop you will learn the best proven techniques at the base of a networking that will help you build meaningful relationship with new clients and keep them loyal for years.
Finally you will be part of several practical simulations in order to hone your newly acquired networking skills and build more confidence in the process and be ready to find your next clients.

WORKSHOP INTRODUCTION

We first introduce the concept of Networking and explain on what scientific evidences and principles it is based. Social networking has been studied for decades and its effectiveness in reaching business goals has been proved many times.

MORNING / SESSION TWO / 90 MIN
WHAT ARE THE NETWORKING TECHNIQUES THAT WORK

The common idea of networking is not the most effective one. We will examine different ways to build report with people and how our relationships must be based on an ethical and trustworthy bases to last over the years.

AFTERNOON / SESSION ONE / 90 MIN
THE STEPS TO BUILD A GREAT NETWORK OF CLIENTS

A step-by-step approach will be explained through a very easy to understand process. Every single step will be theobject of an exercise in a way to deepen your learning.

AFTERNOON / SESSION TWO / 90 MIN
FINAL SIMULATION

As every skill, Networking needs some time to become excellent at it. Through multiple simulations, you will be able to apply your newly acquired skills and consolidate the networking techniques with the other participants, ready to start building your new client base from the next day.
