Tamás Katona is passionate about the use of crypto tools and distributed ledger technology. At Central Bank of Hungary's FinTech Lab, he and his colleagues explore how regulation, technology-enabled innovation and competition can transform the domestic and global financial system. He currently specialises in decentralised finance and is keen to test the latest financial applications. Before joining FinTech Lab, Tamás worked as an analyst in the field of market surveillance, where he contributed to the transposition and implementation of European market abuse regulation.
